Silent Voices Project
On October 8th, 2026, the Task Force held our Silent Voices Project, where we have 16 life-size silhouette cutouts. The purple silhouettes represent DV awareness. They share local, statewide, and national statistics about abuse.
The red silhouettes are what this event is all about. They represent real people in our community who have lost their lives to domestic violence. After the event, the silhouettes were dispersed throughout DeKalb County and will be spreading awareness everyday up until our conference!
3RD ANNUAL CONFERENCE
You are invited to attend our 3rd Annual Conference and this year… it’s going to be big!
This year, the Gabby Petito Foundation will be traveling to DeKalb County, Indiana, to present at our conference on Monday, October 26th, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Gabby was a 22-year-old, woman whose disappearance made national headlines. In memory of Gabby, her parents created the Gabby Petito Foundation. Listen to their story, learn to spot the signs and how to better serve DV survivors. We are also very fortunate to have guest speaker, Dottie Davis attending.
Tickets are $50 per person. Registration and ticket purchase are available until 10/12/26.
